This post is for Cathy, who made walks in the Wellington Botanic Gardens even MORE fun (when I lived there)… and my Mom, who came to smell the roses in the rain with me yesterday.

Enchant, stay beautiful and graceful, but do this, eat well. Bring the same consideration to the preparation of your food as you devote to your appearance. Let your dinner be a poem, like your dress.

They look so beautiful with the rain droplets still on them. Which reminds me, I miss living so close to the Botanical Gardens…I mean I’m still close-ish, but distance has made me lazier :)
;-) I totally understand with the distance thing… not to mention Welly winds!! One has to be pretty determined to fight those.
I feel like flowers are the most beautiful in the rain , their colour really pops since they’re the only bright-coloured things around :) Pretty!
I so agree. And they’re all fresh and sparkling…
Beautiful photos!
Your mom rocks! I love that you went to smell roses in the rain. :)
Yes she does, she got more excited than me! ;-)
I love that purply one, gorgeous! c
What beautiful photos :)
